In an emotional evening held last night, the Rodolfo Benito Samaniego Foundation commemorated its 20th Anniversary with a gala that stood out for its message of love and reconciliation, moving away from hate. This special event, which took place in an environment of solemnity and celebration, had the collaboration of the Alicia Alonso Dance Foundation, making the Performing Arts the undisputed protagonists of the night.
The general direction of the gala was in charge of the renowned choreographer José Manuel Buzón, who directs the Department of Spanish Dance at the Alicia Alonso University Institute of Dance. Under his expert supervision, the event offered a series of performances that left the audience moved and excited.
One of the highlights of the night was the closing of the show by the Alicia Alonso Dance Foundation Ballet, which masterfully performed The Aranjuez Concert. This final performance was greeted with an apotheosis of cheers and applause, with the audience on their feet celebrating the brilliant performance of the work.
The gala also featured the participation of other prominent figures in the field of performing arts. Among them, the singer Arahí Martínez, the musician Lino Lores, the Varay Sorozábal Duo and Jorge Gallego, director of the Departments of Physical Theater and Acrobatic and Circus Dances of the Alicia Alonso University Institute of Dance, shone. Each of these artists contributed to creating an unforgettable atmosphere that resonated deeply with everyone present.
The Rodolfo Benito Samaniego Foundation, committed since its creation to the fight against terrorism and the promotion of peace, managed to transmit at this gala not only a message of remembrance for the victims, but also a strong call to reconciliation and love. This memorable night not only celebrated two decades of dedication and effort, but also reaffirmed the mission and values that have guided the Foundation throughout these years.
