Annex Centers

This project called ANNEXED CENTERS to the “Alicia Alonso” University Dance Institute of the Rey Juan Carlos University, is aimed at schools or institutions of a public or private nature, which aim to enhance artistic talent, through the unification of a methodological system. in the teaching and practice of ballet.

The creation of the ANNEX CENTERS arises from the uninterrupted exercise that the “Alicia Alonso” Dance Foundation has carried out regarding the implementation of higher dance studies in Spain.

Requirements for Centers

Faculty

Specialization of teachers through a Trainer Training Program.

Methodology

Implementation of the Methodology with the structure by levels of technical training.

Once the centers have fulfilled the requirements to become ANNEX CENTERS, they will be in a position to submit their request to the Governing Council of the Institute, which, once the aforementioned points have been verified, will ratify the requested condition. However, this condition will require compliance with the rules of supervision and control of academic activity established both throughout the course and in the examining boards that must supervise the passage to the different levels, included in the methodological instructions manual.

Upon completion of each of these levels, students will receive an accreditation diploma with the specific denomination, issued by the University Institute within the framework of the certifications of the educational extension program. It must be established as a caveat that the accreditation of the last level will depend on passing the Higher Degree Access Test (studies equivalent for all purposes to a Bachelor's Degree in Dance).

Annex Centers

This project aims to continue the teaching and improvement of classical dance using the Cuban method, developing the technical, artistic and didactic capabilities in teachers and students, in order to disseminate Cuban ballet in the Italian peninsula. 

Training in classical dance from the age of 3, the professional training program structured according to the methodology of the Cuban Ballet School begins from the age of 9. This Program consists of a Preparatory Course, Elementary Level (from first to fifth) and Intermediate Level (from sixth to eighth). 

It presents a Dance study program, focused especially on male and female dancers in the learning process, aged between 15 and 25 years. 

This Center offers training according to the Cuban ballet teaching method, covering 8 years of teaching.

Wellness Academy Funakoshi Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica association that brings together a group of schools dedicated to the training of professional dance with high quality both technically and interpretively, following the training program according to the characteristics of the Cuban method of teaching ballet.

TRAINING IN CLASSICAL BALLET

Aimed at teaching Classical Ballet from the age of three to adulthood.

ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL TRAINING IN CLASSICAL DANCE

Structured in three levels: Elementary, Medium and Advanced Level.

TRAINING SPACE FOR NON-PROFESSIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DANCERS

Through this agreement, students of the different training courses will be able to accredit the levels of the ballet specialty according to the parameters defined in the program of the Cuban ballet school.

This program is articulated from the direction of the center by prof. Yaima Arias graduated from the Cuban ballet school, and from the methodological advice that is carried out by the Alicia Alonso University Institute of Dance, through the training of trainers program. 

Dedicated to Music, Dance and Theater in private and municipal schools

Promoting quality artistic training.

Vocational training

Develop a program of courses aimed at the sectors of dance, music and other artistic-cultural goods and expressions. The stimulation, promotion and development of research and teaching, in all areas, as well as the organization and distribution of information, all referring to dance materials and other goods or artistic-cultural expressions.

Teachers graduated from the Cuban ballet school, who has in his training a University Degree in Dance Art with specialization in Classical Ballet obtained at the University of the Arts of Cuba.
