The International Dance Gala dedicated to the figure of Alicia Alonso, held at the Teatro de la Zarzuela on March 14, 2012. Under the Honorary Presidency of HM Queen Doña Sofía.
This Gala, sponsored by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture of the Kingdom of Spain, the Fundación Autor, the SGAE, brought together international dance figures from different companies worldwide, and from different dance manifestations, around the celebration. .
Her Majesty Queen Sofía has presided over the Tribute Gala to the dancer and choreographer Alicia Alonso, on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the “Alicia Alonso” Dance Chair of the Rey Juan Carlos University.
